Premium petrol and diesel.
Separated clearly.
Search premium fuel near you without mixing unlike grades. Compare E5 super unleaded, RON 97+, RON 99 and premium diesel, then verify the exact product on the pump.
Find the premium grade you actually need
Start with super unleaded E5, or choose premium diesel in the fuel selector. Exact octane and retailer product names should be confirmed at the forecourt.
Prices can change after publication. Check the grade, update time and forecourt display before travelling.
Petrol and diesel are separate decisions
These averages describe different products. They are not substitutes for one another.
E5, RON 97+ and RON 99 describe different things
E5 is an ethanol-content label. RON is an octane rating. A product may be E5 and RON 97, 98 or 99.
Compare super diesel with standard diesel separately
Premium diesel names and formulations vary by retailer. Check the pump label, vehicle guidance and local price difference.
Clear labels before you travel
Use the fuel grade, retailer product name and update time together.
Does premium fuel mean petrol or diesel?
It can mean either. This page separates E5 super unleaded, RON 97+ and RON 99 petrol from premium diesel so unlike grades are not compared as though they were interchangeable.
Is every E5 price definitely RON 97+ or RON 99?
No. E5 describes ethanol content, not an exact octane number. Route & Fuel shows RON 97+ and RON 99 guidance when the fuel name is clear, and the pump label remains the final check.
Is premium diesel the same as standard B7 diesel?
Premium diesel is a retailer product category and can still be labelled B7. Compare the exact product, price and vehicle guidance rather than assuming every premium diesel is identical.
Facts you can trace
Route & Fuel separates official national statistics from station-level prices. The latest station-level price update used on this page is dated 24 June 2026; typical ranges reduce the effect of unusual reports instead of presenting one extreme price as a guaranteed bargain.
